The Makita Rotary Hammer (HR4013CV) is built with ultra-low vibration at just 5.0 m/s for maximum comfort and safety! This hammer has a SDS-MAX shank, and functions as hammer and rotation or hammer only.

If the tool jams, its torque limiter stops bit rotation for increased safety and enhanced tool protection.

The hammer's soft start gradually increases speed, which eliminates start-up shock. The variable speed dial allows you to adjust speed based on materials you're using or application.

The 24 angle bit positions enable chisels to be positioned at optimum angle of operation. The one touch sliding chuck makes bit changing quick and easy, and the trigger and locking slide switches is ideal for intermittent hammering and prolonged demolition applications.

The hammer's NEW Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT™) system incorporates vibration absorbing housing, which uses its active dynamic vibration absorber / damper spring to prevent the vibration transmission from the tool to you. Since, there is no load motor suppression, this limits vibration and bit deflection when the tool is idle.

It also has an ergonomic soft RUBBER grip that absorbs vibration and operates comfortably.
