The Makita Rotary Hammer (HR4011C) has a SDS-MAX shank, and functions as hammer and rotation or hammer only.

The constant speed control maintains a consistent speed under heavy loads. The hammer's soft start gradually increases speed, which eliminates start-up shock. The variable speed dial allows you to adjust speed based on materials you're using or application.

The 12 angle bit positions enable chisels to be positioned at optimum angle of operation. The one touch sliding chuck makes bit changing quick and easy, and the locking slide switch is ideal for chiseling.

If the tool jams, its torque limiter stops bit rotation for increased safety and enhanced tool protection.

The hammer's Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT™) actively prevents vibration transmissions from the tool to you for smoother use. It also has a vibration absorbing handle with an ergonomic soft RUBBER grip that absorbs vibration and operates comfortably.
